The perfect spring class! This class provides an introduction to porcelain, the elite of ceramics. Students will learn pouring, cleaning and firing techniques as well as china painting eggs and bunnies.

This class is for those individuals who have already mastered the basic steps in wheel throwing; centering, opening, and raising. This course will focus on shaping your piece and surface design. There will also be an area of focus on how to cut a foot and pull handles.

Pinch, Coil, Slab - This class is offered to adults interested in making unique, one of a kind, abstract ceramics pieces. Students will explore various hand building methods such as pinch, coil, slab, molds, and combination techniques.

Beginning to Bead |
Learning to design a personalized earring, bracelet and necklace! This three week class will incorporate the use of basic jewelry-making tools, as well as the foundation for easy wire work. Natural gemstone beads, as well as wood, glass and Swarovski crystals will be offered.

| Creative Drama for the Creative Child. |

Fairytale Theatre is a high energy; high quality program for young children ages 3-6. Classes are designed to enhance self-confidence, social interaction and creative expression through dramatic play, performance, music and movement. Fairytale Theatre is for every young child with a creative spirit - that’s every child! All classes will culminate in a short in-classroom performance for friends and family.
*Ages are of September 1st, 2007. All children must be fully potty-trained. |

Fairytale Theatre - Ages 3 / 4 |
This class introduces our youngest students to the magic of their imagination. Each week we’ll explore the aspects of a new storybook using our five senses. There will be things to touch, smell, create and more! Performers will solve problems and have interesting adventures that students will help create. Ideas will be expressed through creative story telling, music and LOTS of movement!

| Fairytale Theatre - Ages 5 / 6 |

This high energy class is designed for the “big kids” who are ready to chew on more challenging - but FUN - adventures! Creative dramatics will help our young performers focus energy and ideas into meaningful experiences. We’ll explore ways to use our voices, sharpen our listening skills and work as a ensemble. Students will learn basic performance and character development skills.

Basic Ceramics – Face Mask Adventure! |
Join in on the ceramic adventure! Students will learn basic hand building and glazing techniques and create a one-of-a-kind masks from around the world. Influences for masks include Native American, African Tribal and theatrical performance. Student will learn unlock their creative potential and discover a new love for ceramics! Parents will be invited to the last class for a “mini art show” and to learn about each piece.
